Buy one. Give one.
We donate a cow to school overseas every time we sell a cow.

How does it work?

Step 1: Place a deposit now to reserve your beef portion.

Step 2: Sit back and relax while we care for the beef until it is ready.

Step 3: Receive your beef and enjoy!

Step 4: We donate a cow to a school overseas. Thus supporting both a school and a local farmer in that country!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is your beef grassfed?

Yes! We leave them on pastures all summer, then bring the herd up and feed them hay all winter. In the spring, when the grass comes up, the cows are put back out on the pastures where they are fattened. All of our animals finish on grass.

What comes in a bulk bundle share?

Each bundle/share will include 40% premium ground beef, 35% savory cuts (ribs, roasts, stew meat, etc.) and 25% steaks (ribeye, sirloin, T-bone or strip and fillet) Our custom processor takes as many specialty cuts as possible so that our customers are provide with a buffet of options. We also provide a variety of organ meat with all bulk shares (upon request).

Why do you only sell bundles and not individual cuts?

This is the most efficient way for us to provide our customers with a quality product at a fair price and maintain our family operation.

Where does Dakota Bluffs ship?

We ship anywhere in the lower 48 states (sorry, Alaska and Hawaii).

Are your cows happy?

Extremely! We believe that our cattle should live a happy and healthy life with one bad day. We honor their sacrifice by making sure they have the best life a cow can possibly have. We use ethical, low stress handling practices, and spend time checking our cattle's health and living conditions everyday.

1. 100% Grass-Finished, Never Grain-Fed

Many farms claim to sell "grass-fed" beef, but most finish their cattle on grain. Our beef is 100% grass-finished, meaning our cattle eat only grass and forage their entire lives. This results in leaner, more nutritious beef with higher Omega-3s and CLA.

2. Regenerative Grazing for Healthier Land

We don’t just raise cattle—we rebuild soil. Our regenerative grazing practices improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and capture carbon, making our farm more sustainable for future generations.

3. Ethical, Humane Treatment

Our cattle live low-stress lives, roaming freely in open pastures. We believe in ethical animal husbandry—no feedlots, no unnecessary antibiotics, and no synthetic hormones.

4. Buy One, Give One Program

Every cow you purchase helps feed children overseas. Through our Buy One, Give One initiative, we donate a cow to a school in need, ensuring more kids get access to nutritious meals.

5. Direct from Our Farm to Your Door

No middlemen. No mystery meat. Just high-quality, USDA-inspected beef shipped directly from our South Dakota pastures to your doorstep.

Taste the difference. Support the land. Feed the world.

  • Testimonials

We have had an excellent experience with buying beef from Doug and Cindy. They truly care about their animals and the quality beef product they are producing. Their service has been amazing! Delivered quickly in frozen packages right to my home. The flavor is great. The ground beef fried up beautifully with just the right amount of fat and NOT saturated in fat like I've experienced from different store bought beef.
I love knowing directly where my beef is coming from. Cindy has been very open and honest with their ranching practices. Thank you!
